  • Consider user, understand business, their goals (media industry, education, corporate), understand limitations of development
  • design, psychology, engineering - apply ux process and learn about user experience.

  • UX Designer - business related (improve business functions)
  • Research scientist - research on process of using technology
  • Product Designer - cross functional role (research, lot of UX, visuals)
  • UI Designer - Developing user interfaces
  • Information Architect - research about how users are processing the information (going through design process) can work in other areas too like designing hospital systems (system analysis for how each patient interacts)
  • Lots of front-end development (engineer, systems engineer)
  • UX Engineer - coding, code debugging, accessibility
